Rental Rates and Regulations
 
The Donavan Inn is composed of the main farm house with one bedroom, closets, shower and bathroom; a large living room with a 37 inch flatscreen LCD HD satellite TV; a sun deck with large glass windows; front porch; mud room and utility room. A covered porch leads to the new bedroom addition. A covered porch and wooden deck on the bedroom addition leads to a concrete patio. The two new bedrooms each have a bathroom with tub and shower and satellite TV.
 
Environs include prairie, hardwoods, swamps, and rolling pastures. Outstanding birding including migratory water fowl, wetland species such as wood storks ibises, osprey, an occasional bald eagle, and herons, rails, and prairie species such as hawks, kestrels, and shrikes.
 
 
Renting the Donavan Inn includes: Exclusive use of the Inn. Full fishing privileges in 8 lakes; 14 ft. aluminum boat/trailer, with trolling motor, battery, battery charger, safety equipment, two paddles, anchor, ice chest; access to 17 piers, and the roofed party pier with ceiling fans/lights and hot/cold running water. BBQ grill, picnic table; fish cleaning table by barn.
 
 
Rental Rate (this rate covers 1-6 people): $385 for one day (Monday - Thursday only); $335/day for Friday - Sunday (two day minimum). Additional guests over the basic rate for 6 people: $50/day/guest.

$50/night discount for Club members.

Holiday periods require multiple day rentals.

One Week Special Rate (7 days for 1 - 6 people): $2,000.
 
 
A Lodging Tax of 5 % will be added to the total bill.
 
 
Renting the Inn for activities such as weddings, reunions, clubs, anniversaries, etc. (large groups of people on the Inn property in addition to the rentors) requires renting the Inn for a minimum of four (4) nights....$1,200 with no discounts)

Rentors holding parties, weddings, receptions, etc., of more that 20 people must arrange for removal of all garbage generated during the rental period. The contact person for County garbage pickup will be provided to the rentors.
 
 
Sleeping accommodations : 1 kingsize, 1 queen, 2 doubles, 2 twin longs, 1 queen fold out couch. These 7 beds can accommodate 12 people. Three sofas could provide sleeping space for small children. Children under three free.
 
Arrival time: 8:00 am for access to property, fishing, birding, nature walks, biking, picnics, etc.
 
Donavan Inn check in time: 3:00 P.M. (earlier if Inn not rented on previous day).
 
Donavan Inn check out time: 11:00 am and includes submission of keys to Inn ( guests may remain on the property till 5:00 P.M.; fishing, birding, etc.).
 
Deposit: ½ at time of making reservations; remainder of charges two weeks before reservation date; $100 of deposit non-refundable. $300 non-refundable if reservation cancelled 7 days or less before date of arrival.

Management reserves the right to assess a security deposit up to $500 for any rental aggrement that he deems necessary.
 
Cleaning Service: Provided at $20/hour (pending availability of housekeeper).
 
 
Childcare (babysitting): $10/hour (depending upon availability of babysitters for the designated time). Contact Manager Wilson for arranging childcare, 334-683-6389.
 
Go-To People: Charlene Collins is the Inn Housekeeper; Earl Washburn is the Farm Manager (see Earl's World on Club web site); Thomas Wilson, Inn and Fishing Club Manager, will usually be on the property late in the afternoons and on weekends and often during the summer months.
 
Adding Individuals to the list of guests after guests arrive at the Inn: No visitors are allowed at the Inn or on the Club property; however, Inn guests may add additional people according to the following rules: Inn guests may add people to their party up to a total of six people in the Inn; additional guests in the Inn (over 6 people) must pay a $100/day fee; 13 people maximum for the Inn.
 
Rules and Regulations for all quests (subject to change by the Management):
 
1. No ATVs; Gas and electric carts can be used
2. No swimming in lakes
3. No smoking in any building
4. No firearms
5. Boat rules: All fishermen must wear life preservers; minors must be accompanied by an adult
6. No pets allowed in the Inn
7. Report any and all damages to the property and broken items
8. No live bait in any room in the Inn
9. No cleaning of fish in or near the Inn; fish cleaning table provided by barn
10. No cleaning of fish on any pier
11. Fish cleaning table located by the little barn; fish cleaning wastes can be thrown behind the Swamp Lake dam (not in the water)
12. Lock the entrance gate going in and coming out (lock the gate behind you)
13. Telephone in the Inn is a local only phone line.
